The brand was born in the 70’s when the winter cold waters in Santa Catarina prevented Dr. Morongo from practicing his favorite sport: surfing. The doctor then developed and sewed his own rubber surf suits. Not long afterwards, and due to his big success, he began sewing surf suits for his friends and soon put together a small factory in his garage. Mormaii was born.
Rooted in surfing and with products full of an adventurous spirit, the brand was licensed to Technos in 2001, giving birth to a successful business relationship between the two companies.
